Thank you for choosing me as your shearer.

By booking with me, you’re choosing a shearer who prioritises animal welfare over speed. As a first-year shearer, I focus on a calm, patient approach and a tidy finish, allowing each animal the time it needs to be handled and shorn safely and respectfully.

I do not require electricity, however animals need to be in the smallest pen possible near a shaded or undercover space, and for alpacas I need a space to set up restraints.

Please note: the quote I give you assumes that your animals were shorn approximately 12 months ago. Animals that are over fleeced carry additional surcharges due to the extra time and wear on gear needed. If you’re unsure whether your animals are double-fleeced, please feel free to send through a photo, and I’ll be happy to confirm.

I acknowledge that my animals will be shorn by a first year shearer, and while every effort will be made to handle them gently and safely, the final clip may not be perfect and minor shearing injuries can occur.
